The Power of Superfoods

The time has finally come. The time to let go of our old beliefs that we are victim’s of the environment and start taking charge of our inner state of being. Nature has provided us with everything we need and God made each one of us perfectly whole and with every tool necessary to achieve a long and healthy life. The more humanity leaves the “Information Age” towards the “Intuition Age,” it becomes clearer that technology cannot overcome the power of nature.

21 million American children and adults annually suffer from depression. Is it part of our nature to feel depressed? No, it is not. Nature offers us the sun and rain. Love and hate. Happiness and sadness. However, depression is the extreme of a chronic sadness that you decided to feed. On top of not honoring the circumstances you have attracted to your life that led to your depression, now you decide to start swallowing pills in order to heal the so called “chemical imbalance” in the brain..

It is known that the low level of neurotransmitters in the brain along with serotonin deficiency leads to depression. It is also a fact that anti-depressants are not proven to be efficient and are very likely to cause side effects that can be life threatening. What is the answer then in achieving happiness and healing depression? It is a very simple concept and it costs much less than any medication: the answer is by eating Superfoods.

Superfoods are both food and medicine. They are a class of the most potent super concentrated and nutrient rich foods on the planet. They have the power to correct imbalances in the brain. As David Wolfe argued in his book “you are what you eat’ and everything you put into your mouth is going to affect your mind, body and spirit.”

Let’s take Goji berry for instance; it helps the body to produce choline, an essential nutrient that combats free-radical damage linked to neurological degeneration. Strengthens the system while helping the body to deal more easily with stress by supporting the adrenal glands. A bag full of them costs 10 dollars, and there is no side effect. Which one would you rather? A natural tonic that improves your overall stamina, mood and well-being or a medication that will make you eternally dependent? Just like any other medication, an anti-depressant will not heal the body as a whole and it will only serve a temporarily purpose. It is likely that will affect different parts of the body though affecting your emotional world in a very negative way.

Even worst than taking medication to heal our bodies and mind is those who do not eat certain foods that are of extreme nutrition value because of its high calorie. Cacao is one of the best Superfoods that increase brain’s blood flow, oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. Number one source of magnesium, which is the responsible for an increase in brainpower. A person, who eats oxygenizing food, eliminates any state of depression. Who cares about calories when what we truly aim is health and happiness? How amazing is that a little piece of cacao produces Phenyl ethylamine that is a class of chemicals that we produce in our bodies when we fall in love?

Instead of wasting money going to doctors to get prescriptions for medications, what about spending money joining a gym instead? You can apply raw cacao to your shakes, get the “bliss chemical” which is an endorphin that can only be found in Cacao, and then you go burn it all out exercising! On top of that, this delicious mood enhancing food is responsible for the critical production of serotonin, and with serotonin in our brains depression will lose its name.
